The new branch will support both existing and new customers throughout the state, complementing United’s national footprint as one of Australia’s largest privately owned forklift and access equipment companies.
“Our rental fleet has a major advantage in SA in that it is new from the ground up – we have the best technology, the best brands and the best service backing,” said Mark Siebum, manager of the new branch at Cavan, North Adelaide.
“For both sale and rental, we have outstanding service resources with experienced industry professionals, some of whom have more than 20 years knowledge of key industries important to SA.”
The first sale from the new branch was of a CAT 2.5 LPG forklift to Auslift SA, which is a forklift and materials handling specialist with a strong belief in personalised service, commitment and loyalty.
“The partnership with companies such as Auslift is highly complementary because United Forklift and Access Solutions is a service-driven privately-owned forklift and access equipment company with national resources, but which remains highly responsive to local customer needs,” Siebum said.
“We are a company that prides itself on building strong and mutually beneficial relationships with customers and suppliers, and advantage that was further recognised when we were crowned 2018 Rental Company of the Year by the Australian Hire and Rental Industry Association (HRIA).
“In SA, we have the same service credentials that will serve our customers in the access equipment market, which includes industries such as construction and maintenance, where delays are costly and reliability is prized.
“And the same safety, reliability and environmental features that are valued by the access market are also very important to SA forklift market sectors such as warehousing, transport, retail, and food and beverage distribution.”
