The Queensland government is injecting over $3.8 billion, 10.32% of the recent state budget, into the state's roads and transport sector with an aim to optimise accessibility. The 9th Annual Queensland Transport Infrastructure Conference 2018 will examine both the government's plans and privately funded projects that are set to expand Queensland's transport networks.
On this year's agenda are big ticket projects such as the $5.41 billion Cross River Rail, the $252.5 million Toowoomba Second Range Crossing (TSRC) Project, the $170 million Pacific Motorway Upgrade, the $929.3 million Bruce Highway Upgrade and also projects covering airports, ports, trade routes plus more.
The two-day Conference provides the platform to learn about the challenges, trends, developments, safety frameworks and new technologies within Queensland's developing transport sector. This is done through comprehensive presentations, case studies, panel discussions and specialised networking sessions, all featuring senior-level industry experts.
