Construction software developer Bluebeam has announced the latest version of its flagship project efficiency program, Revu 2019.
Revu 2019 introduces new features and tools that aim to boost productivity, improve measurement activity and streamline deployment.
The software helps keep teams on the same page throughout the design process, helps move the project forward during construction and keeps important project data available for asset managers.

Revu 2019 makes use of a new hardware-accelerated rendering engine to smooth performance and provide faster panning and zooming of complex linework. Improved rendering speed, faster refresh and quicker load times also allows users to pan and zoom through documents with reduced latency.
It has also introduced features designed to improve turnaround times, reduce risk and minimise errors from the beginning of the process, with an automatic prompt for setting scale and the ability to set independent units for different measurement types.
A new configuration editor in Revu 2019 helps streamline the deployment process across teams and organisations to boost standardisation and increase project consistency. This allows IT administrators to configure how Revu should be rolled out across an organisation, including settings, features and plugins.
