A1A continues to expand on iCraneTrax’s features

A1A Software has continued to expand the features of iCraneTrax with users now having the ability to display appointments, customers and job locations on a map – making the fleet and personnel management software more robust for the needs of equipment rental companies.

Quote proposals, service agreements, and dispatch tickets can now be customised, giving users control over which fields to display in the job information, job description, and header sections of printouts. For example, terms and conditions can now be added to the service agreement.

“iCraneTrax combines sales, dispatch and fleet maintenance with telematics into one application to more efficiently manage rental company daily operations and increase revenue,” Tawnia Weiss, president of A1A Software, told American Cranes and Transport.

“iCraneTrax captures complex data from the most sophisticated crane and lifting equipment, then combines various business communications into one tool to improve coordination and communication between sales people, dispatchers, operators, managers and mechanics.

“Two new reports will make life easier for sales people and project managers. The new job pipeline report displays all upcoming jobs and their quote amounts, while the new map report displays appointment, customer and job locations on a map.

“In addition, the name of the person who scheduled an appointment can now be added to customer calls reports.”

The time block feature allows users to assign equipment and personnel for a designated time period, assists with payroll and provides more accurate availability of equipment that can be called out on rent.

Now, default time blocks can be created for standard uses such as labour or equipment runtime, making data entre more efficient. Likewise, it is now possible to specify typical workdays on crane utilisation reports. Plus, time blocks can be displayed in job notification emails and can be optionally added to dispatch tickets.

“iCraneTrax is entirely customisable, which increases operational efficiencies, productivity and profits for equipment rental companies. Because it is web-based, the application is accessible from multiple branches and mobile devices,” Weiss concluded.
