The Property Industry Foundation has appointed Frasers Property Australia CEO Anthony Boyd to the Board for a three-year term.
The Foundation builds homes for homeless youth and provides ongoing support to help young people rebuild their lives.
The Property Industry Foundation has built and refurbished homes for homeless youth for over 25 years and aims to build 300 bedrooms for homeless youth by 2025.
Boyd said the opportunity to join the Foundation Board is a privilege.
“The numbers are alarming and must be addressed, and that’s what the Foundation is about. Every night, for a variety of reasons, an estimated 44,000 young Australians do not have a safe and secure place to call home. The Property Industry Foundation is focused on making a tangible difference to this issue and the passion to do so among the Board, and in the industry more broadly, is evident,” Boyd said.

“The Property Industry Foundation represents the best of what our industry has to offer in terms of capability and collaboration, and as part of the Board I look forward to building on the legacy of the great people which have guided the Foundation into the position it is in today.”
Property Industry Foundation CEO Kate Mills said Boyd and Frasers Property Australia have been long term supporters of the Foundation.
“We are grateful and excited to have Anthony join the board and bring his unique talent, expertise and perspective to the work of the Property Industry Foundation,” she said.
Frasers Property recently sponsored and delivered a new home for four disadvantaged youths and two live-in carers in Melbourne’s south-east. Clayton House was a three-way partnership between Frasers Property Australia, the Property Industry Foundation and the Lighthouse Foundation.
As part of the Board, Boyd will work with the other Foundation Directors to enhance the strategy and business outcomes for the Foundation, using his knowledge, networks and insights to increase its impact, while contributing to the composition and diversity of the Foundation.
