Industrial Relations Minister Grace Grace said the Governor-in-Council has approved the appointment of John Cornelius Dwyer, Catherine Marie Hartigan, Jacqueline Marie Power and Roslyn Donita Halliday McLennan to the Commission from 9 July 2019.

QRIC is an independent tribunal established to conciliate and arbitrate industrial matters in Queensland.

The new commissioners will fill vacancies in the QIRC following the retirement of two members earlier this year and the upcoming retirement of two more members.

“Each of the appointees bring the life skills, professional experience and expertise required of a commissioner of the QIRC and I congratulate them on their appointment,” Grace said.
