Construction on the New South Wales Department of Planning, Industry and Environment’s new hub has reached a major milestone, topping out ahead of schedule.
The new hub, located in Orange, provides 8500 square metres of commercial space along with a multi-storey car park.
ADCO was selected to build the project and have been working to deliver a sustainable development, with a 5-star Green Star rating, a 4-Star NABERS Water and 5-Stare NABERS energy rating.
Solar panels will be used extensively, with electric car recharge stations available on completion.
The Water, Property and Housing Minister Melinda Pavey, Mayor of Orange Reg Kidd, Deputy Mayor Sam Romano, MP Sam Farraway and Verde and ADCO staff attended a topping out ceremony to celebrate the milestone.
Works are currently ahead of schedule and is expected to be completed by mid-2020.
