Construction company ADCO has been selected as head contractor for Bundanon Trust’s Riversdale Masterplan, a $22 million site redevelopment on the estate of Arthur Boyd.
The project aims to showcase Boyd’s art and create a haven for artists on the banks of the Shoalhaven River.
NSW Families, Communities and Disability Services Minister Gareth Ward and Federal Member for Gilmore Fiona Phillips announced ADCO as builder for the cultural project.
Construction will see a new subterranean gallery, auditorium, restaurant, education spaces and accommodation for 64 people. A footbridge will also be built to complement the existing Boyd Education Centre.
JBG is undertaking the earthworks, roadworks and parking facilities, with Kerstin Thompson Architects designing the project.
Completion for the project is planned for late 2021.
