Ramsay Health Care has awarded a $53 million contract to the Georgiou Group to deliver Hollywood Private Hospital’s South Block and Administration Upgrade.
The scope of works for the project will include the design and construction of a new emergency department and three 30-bed wards at the Western Australian campus, including tenancies. It will also expand the current radiology unit and associated carpark.
Georgiou Building General Manager Steve Okill said the award highlights Georgiou’s strong relationship with Ramsay Health Care and their ability to work in a live environment.
“We recently completed the new consulting centre and are finishing works on the new mental health unit at Hollywood Hospital, where our team has showcased their strengths in service integrations and working within the constraints of a live hospital environment,” he said.
