Eurobodalla Shire Council has chosen a head contractor for Batemans Bay’s Regional Aquatic, Arts and Leisure Centre on the South Coast of NSW.
ADCO will help deliver the new aquatic centre that replaces the community’s existing pool at Mackay Park.
The company expects the job will provide 51 direct and 131 indirect jobs during the construction of the community facility.

The project will include a 25-metre, eight-lane pool with ramp access, a warm-water therapy pool, an indoor leisure pool with learn-to-swim and toddler areas, water-play areas and waterslides, a gym, group fitness rooms, and amenities.
It will also feature arts and cultural facilities including a, 350-seat theatre, dressing and green rooms, rehearsal space, art exhibition and storage space, meeting and multi-purpose rooms and amenities.
Construction will commence in August to be ready for use in 2022.
