Builders have been appointed to construct ambulance stations in Inglewood, Karingal, and Rochester in Victoria.
A builder has also been appointed to modernise the Ararat Ambulance Station.
Bowden Corporation will build the new multi-million-dollar ambulance stations on Mackay Street, Rochester and Hospital Street, Inglewood.
The new ambulance stations will each feature a three-bay garage for ambulances, two rest and recline areas for hard-working paramedics to recuperate, a fully equipped kitchen and improved security and car parking to make sure paramedics are safe. Both ambulance stations are on-track to be completed later this year.
It will also modernise the Ararat Ambulance Station on Basham Street, which will feature a new MICA covered space, new medical and delivery stores and improved training facilities and amenities for our hard-working paramedics. Work there is likely to be completed in the second half of 2022.
