The City of Boroondara has selected its builder of choice for the $65.5 million Kew Recreational Centre project in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.
ADCO will transform the current centre into an advanced recreational facility, to provide the local community with access to a range of health benefits.
The centre will include a learn-to-swim pool, an aqua play area, a secluded warm-water pool for gentle exercise, childcare facilities, larger change rooms, two indoor sports courts, allied health suites, a forecourt, cafe and party room.
Facilities for the Boroondara Stroke Support Group, two lifts and a sensory room will be included as part of the centre to provide greater accessibility.
ADCO has previously worked with City of Boroondara, completing the Hawthorn Aquatic & Leisure Centre in 2013 and the Hawthorn Library in 2012.
