Builder chosen for $17M Midland Saleyards development

A building contractor has been selected to deliver the $17 million Midland Saleyards, a mixed retail and industrial development that will include Western Australia’s largest Bunnings Warehouse.

A building contractor has been selected to deliver the $17 million Midland Saleyards, a mixed retail and industrial development that will include Western Australia’s largest Bunnings Warehouse.

Aigle Royal Developments selected construction company ADCO as builder of choice for the development.

The scope of works will see ADCO deliver a new light industrial, large format retail and commercial area, with frontages for Clayton Street and Lloyd Street in the Perth suburb of Midland.

Located on the site of the former Midland Saleyards WA livestock centre, which services the state’s railway and agricultural industry for 100 years, the 14-hectare development will be anchored by Bunnings’ 11,000 square metres warehouse.

The retail development will also feature 566 new parking spaces.

Future stages will allow for 25 further tenancies, including large format retail, food and beverage, a fuel station and childcare centre.
