Construction company ADCO has won two Western Australian refurbishment contracts with a combined worth of around $62 million.
The company was selected by WA property group Hawaiian to lead the $45 million refurbishment works of Perth’s Parmelia Hilton.
The hotel will include new frontage, an expanded lobby, refurbished guestrooms and bathrooms, an executive lounge and a connection to the neighbouring Brookfield Place precinct.
Renovations will see new air-conditioning, flooring, furniture, and improved in-room technology. The number of rooms will also increase from 284 to 309.
The hotel will remain operational during the construction work, which is expected to be completed in September 2020.
