Perth Airport has selected Georgiou Group to deliver the $13 million Baggage Screening Upgrades project.
The works will include upgrades to the existing baggage handling system, screening facilities, out of gauge handling and associated control rooms across all four Perth Airport terminals.
It is the fifth project that Perth Airport has awarded to Georgiou, following the completion of the pedestrian bridge in 2019.
Georgiou Building General Manager Steve Okill said the company is proud to apply its track record at Perth Airport to the upgrades and looks forward to applying its experience working in live, operational environments to the project.
