GraysOnline launches bushfire charity auction

The South Australian Government has released details of its record $12.9 billion infrastructure funding package that is expected to create around 80,000 construction jobs.

With ongoing bushfires engulfing much of south-east Australia, Grays has launched a major online auction event to raise funds for volunteer firefighters and animal welfare.

The company is calling for Australians to donate their valuable or unused items with all proceeds going towards the bushfire relief. Grays will provide all listings, shipping marketing and logistics across its online platform at no cost.

All proceeds from the auction will be equally distributed to the NSW Rural Fire Service, VIC Country Fire Authority, and WIRES Australian Wildlife Organisation.

“Like all Australians, the team at Grays has watched in horror at the devastation caused during the current bushfire crisis. The team decided to use our auction platform and expertise to launch this major online auction event to raise funds for the people at the front line who are working tirelessly to protect people, homes and animals,” Grays Managing Director Chris Corbin said.
