A contract worth $379 million to deliver the first stage of construction for New South Wales’ Nepean Hospital Redevelopment has been awarded.
CPB Contractors, part of the CIMIC Group, will build a new 14-stoery clinical building as part of the contract, following the recent selection of the company to also deliver the Campbelltown Hospital Redevelopment Stage Two project.
The new facility will be built at the existing hospital site in Kingswood and have a total building area of more than 55,000 square metres.
It will include a new emergency department, more than 200 overnight beds and more than 12 new operating theatres.
CIMIC Group Chief Executive Officer, Michael Wright, said the group continues to provide essential infrastructure for local communities, including health facilities, public transport infrastructure and new motorways.

CPB Contractors has also been awarded contracts to deliver the Wagga Wagga Health Service Stage Three Redevelopment, the Coffs Harbour Hospital Expansion Main Works, and the Campbelltown Hospital Redevelopment.
Its other projects in Western Sydney include the Parramatta Light Rail Stage One, The Northern Road stages Five and Six and early earthworks contracts for the Western Sydney Airport.
