The new Warrawong Community Health Centre, part of the $780 million New Shellharbour Hospital and Integrated Services Project, is progressing with the appointment of Stephen Edwards Constructions as the main works contractor.
The company was selected through a competitive tender process to deliver the new purpose-built facility, which will offer essential health services for the local community.
New South Wales regional health minister Ryan Park described the appointment as a significant milestone, saying the project brings the community closer to receiving important community-based health services
“Having services including child and family health, Aboriginal maternal infant health services and drug and alcohol services all under the one roof will enhance accessibility and support the health needs of the local community,” said Park.
